Jamboree Veteran Scouter Ed Behn, who has served as an adult leader for past national jamboree contingents from our council, will lead our three troops on a memorable experience for all who attend. What can you do at the Jamboree? Rappelling, Scuba, Sailing, Rafting , Kayaking, Archery, Biking, Trap Shooting, Buckskin Games, Confidence Courses and more! Daily activities include: Merit Badge Midway, Arts & Sciences, recreation of the original Baden Powell Scout Camp at Brownsea Island, an American Indian village, regional entertainment stages, evening arena shows, and much, much more! How
do I register for the jamboree?
Register online at www.bsajamboree.org. Go to the website and create a log-in user ID and password. You must have your BSA membership ID number to create a user account. This is on your membership card, or you can also call the council office manager, John Fortini at 508-872-6551. There will be a window on the log-in screen informing the user of the BSA member ID requirement. Create a MyScouting account. Now you can complete an online application.
PLEASE NOTE: When submitting, the applicant will be asked to pay a $10 processing fee payable by credit/debit card only. The processing fee is nonrefundable. All youth and leader applicants will be instructed to print their confirmation and have it signed by their Scoutmaster. Take the signed document and a $100 deposit to the Knox Trail Council office. Note: This confirmation does not guarantee a spot in the council jamboree troop. The council jamboree committee will make that determination.
How do I apply to be on
the general jamboree staff? More details will follow from the National Council for youth and adults applying for the general jamboree staff. Payment Schedule for Youth Participants
All payments should be made online by clicking the Jamboree Payment button above. American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, PayPal and electronic checks are all accepted forms of payment. The total jamboree fee is $1,960, which includes transportation, meals and lodging en route to and from the Jamboree, special patches and t-shirt, patrol and troop equipment, a Jamboree training weekend, and tour days on the way to the Jamboree. The final cost will be determined shortly and final payment will be adjusted accordingly. Contact: Rick Riopelle or 508-872-6551 x224.
